Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: 1,6, Helmut-Schmidt-Universität - Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg, Veranstaltung: Human Resources Management, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Umstände, Rahmenbedingungen und ständig wechselnde Umwelteinflüsse machen es notwendig, das eigene Verhalten kontinuierlich an die neuen Gegebenheiten anzupassen. Dieser Zustand beschränkt sich natürlich nicht nur auf die Individuen, sondern auch auf deren Zusammenschluss in Organisationen jedweder Art. Die Wissenschaftsdisziplin der Organisationsentwicklung hat genau diesen organisatorischen Wandel zum Inhalt und beschäftigt sich mit der Ausgestaltung und aktiven Nutzung desselben. Bereits im Jahre 2005 hat eine internationale Studie eine Verbreitung des Konzeptes der Organisationsentwicklung von 90% der Befragten ergeben und es ist davon auszugehen, dass sich dieser Wert in den weiteren Jahren noch gesteigert hat. Vor diesem Hintergrund stellt sich die Frage, wie Organisationsentwicklung wissenschaftstheoretisch konzipiert ist und wie sie sich im Verlauf der vergangenen Jahrzehnte zum heutigen Sachstand entwickelt hat. Das Ziel dieser Ausarbeitung besteht einerseits darin, im Zuge der Ausarbeitung eines Referates, die Entstehung sowie die theoretische Fundierung der Organisationsentwicklung zu vertiefen und im weiteren die Methoden und Instrumente dieser Wissenschaftsdisziplin darzustellen. Dazu erfolgen zu Beginn eine Definition des Begriffes sowie eine Abgrenzung zum benachbarten Bereich des Change Managements. Darauf aufbauend wird anhand der historischen Entwicklung gezeigt, wie das heute vorhandene Konzept aus unterschiedlichen Teilbereichen hervorgegangen ist und welche Auswirkungen diese Ursprünge noch heute entfalten. Im Anschluss daran werden die Ursachen für organisationalen Wandel dargestellt und deren Anknüpfungspunkte an die Organisationsentwicklung, sowie die für den Wandel eingesetzten Methoden und Instrum
